As always seems to be the case, there has been a lot of activity since the last post. Emma is in “big girl school” now…three mornings a week. Although she is a bit shy, she really seems to like it and is learning a ton. In fact she frequently surprises her parents about what she know. For example the other day at breakfast when asked by dad while eating pancakes, “Where does maple syrup come from?”, Emma immediately answered, “From maple trees daddy.” Mom and dad were quite stunned that she knew this.

So no big vacations but a couple really nice long weekends at the beach and up to Wallace. Everyone seemed to enjoy the Hoppy and Evelyn’s little cabin on the river. Halloween and a trip to the pumpkin patch came quickly. The biggest news was moving out of our house so the remodel could start. The initial round of demo and excavation was impressive in how quickly it changed the house and yard. A couple of the events are captured below.
