Blessed news friends and family!
Baby Emma Catherine Johanson was born this February 5th at 10:26am. She weighed in at 7lbs 11oz and is almost 21in long. Mama and baby are doing very well.
Both have big appetites and have also been resting nicely.
The weekend was a bit long starting with a kidney stone on Friday (Leah thought it best to get at least two of the most painful events in her life out of the way in one weekend). And after a false start Saturday night with Leah’s contractions slowing down after we arrived at the hospital, we returned early Monday morning for the real thing.
Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers over the past few days and months. Looking forward to introducing you all to Emma in the coming weeks.
